My Background

Hi, I’m Mara Behan, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and parent of three. My experience navigating children’s allergies and parenting teenagers gives me a grounded, real-life understanding of family challenges.


I work with couples and individuals who are seeking growth, healing, and stronger connections. I have a special interest in supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause, and I also support men with anxiety, relationship concerns, and life transitions.


Whether you’re facing anxiety, relationship strain, or grief, I offer a warm, judgment-free space to make sense of what you’re going through. Clients often describe my style as compassionate, approachable, and gently honest, with room for both healing and a bit of humor.
